Client Advocates provide education, support and practical help to those we serve. Involves one-on-one interaction with clients. Training is provided both in house and online by Care Net, our national affiliate.

Wash, sort and organize donated items or volunteer in our Blessing Boutique, an adorable store where clients who have earned vouchers can purchase needed items. On- site training provided.

Answer phones, schedule clients, organize files and send educational videos to clients; Help with the day-to-day administrative duties of our front reception staff.

Having your church or group host a baby shower is a great way to support Akron Pregnancy Services and the clients we serve. It is a great opportunity to get women (and men) together, fellowship and bring baby items to be donated to APS. Material needs can be perceived as an obstacle that stands in the way of a client carrying a baby to term. Through donations we are able to provide quality clothing, diapers and other necessary items that can help eliminate this obstacle. When donating items, please remember we honor those we serve by providing only items that are in the same condition we would use for our children.
