Sanctity of Human Life Sunday
January 19, 2025
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is observed annually in January to recognize the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion on demand in the United States on January 22, 1973. This day serves as a time to celebrate God’s precious gift of life and to mourn the loss of more than 63 million lives to abortion in the U.S.
Your church or Sunday School class can arrange for an APS speaker to share more about the value of life and God’s design. APS also provides resources to highlight the sanctity of life and inspire action.
