z old Volunteer Training

Volunteer training is required for anyone who has direct client contact at Akron Pregnancy Services, but it is beneficial for anyone who has a passion for Life issues. For volunteers without direct client contact, training is optional but we would love to have you attend to have a deeper understanding of APS. In addition to attending 3, three – hour classroom sessions, volunteers are required to observe current client advocates as they meet with clients. This combination of classroom and practical training is designed to prepare the volunteer for seeing clients on his/ her own. The shadowing portion of the training can be optional for those without direct client contact.
